Irene "Granny" Ryan is buried in the mausoleum at Woodlawn Cemetery in Santa Monica. She developed a memorable character, both insane and lovable at the same time.

Note: When I studied theatre undergraduate, all the acting students coveted the IRENE RYAN ACTING AWARD. I knew a few people who won it. They deserved it. The award was a big deal, very prestigious. Still is.
Thanks Granny and Happy Birthday. She'd be 105 if she'd lived.
