Walkabout: Sunset Tower Hotel

On My Walkabout:

The Art Deco Streamline Moderne Sunset Tower is my favorite building on Sunset Boulevard. Reportedly, John Wayne brought a cow up to his party and offered his guests some fresh cream.

I've visited two of the huge suites at the top with access to that front porch and the metal ladder reaching to the top. I didn't climb up. Or did I? I was on my best behavior, so I probably didn't. The view was amazing. I'll have to check my photos.
